WILL ELWAY CONSIDER OWNERSHIP AFTER PLAYING DAYS ARE OVER?

Broncos QB John Elway "for the first time said directly
he could see [NFL] ownership in his future," according to
Imse & Marvez of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS. Elway, on the
possibility of owning a part of the Broncos: "That would be
something that I would definitely consider. ... If it's the
Broncos -- or another opportunity arose -- sure, I'd be
interested in that just to stay involved." Broncos Owner
Pat Bowlen, on the possibility of selling part of his team
to Elway: "I don't have any objections to that. But it
won't be talked about until his career is over." Imse &
Marvez write that how much of a stake Elway could buy "would
depend on the price" (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 9/29).
