EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          THE DAILY is pleased to announce the addition of three
     new Staff Writers.  MIKE PRESTON (mikep@sportsbizdaily.com),
     BATES GRAINGER (batesg@sportsbizdaily.com) and MARCUS
     DINITTO (marcusd@sportsbizdaily.com) will be relocating with
     THE DAILY to Charlotte, NC, on October 1 (THE DAILY). 
          OTHER EXECS: ED WERDER has joined ESPN as a Dallas
     bureau reporter (ESPN)....The IHL named BOB MCCAMMON VP &
     Dir of Hockey Operations (IHL)....MARTY EHRLICH was named 
     Senior VP/Programming & Production and Head of Worldwide TV
     at CSI.  Ehrlich's responsibilities will include the
     representation of TV properties as well as the development
     of new projects for CSI, Advantage Int'l and the Octagon
     Group (CSI)....Baseball America promoted DAVE CHASE to
     President and named LEE FOGLER as Publisher.  Baseball
     America Owner & President MILES WOLFF is stepping aside for
     a year to move to Quebec (BASEBALL AMERICA, 9/27).
