ANOTHER MAGIC KINGDOM FOR DISNEY ON SALE IN ORLANDO?

Magic Owner Rich DeVos "defused a rumor now making the
rounds that Disney is making overtures to buy the team,"
according to Larry Guest of the ORLANDO SENTINEL. DeVos:
"That's news to me. ... But we're not trying to sell.
That's not on our agenda at all." But Magic President Bob
Vander Weide said, "If we ever do have an interest in
selling, I've always thought three entities that would make
sense -- Disney, Tribune Co. (owner of the Sentinel) or
Universal Studios" (Larry Guest, ORLANDO SENTINEL, 7/9).
WNBA: The Orlando expansion team had received 4,415
season-ticket deposits as of Tuesday. The team is required
to sell 5,000 by September 1 (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 7/8).
