TIMES, who writes that the film could indicate whether the MTV generation can "learn to take sports seriously as a moral guide?" "Varsity Blues" stars Jon Voight as "an overbearing football coach" and "Dawson Creek" star James Van Der Beek as a second-string QB "suddenly thrust into the limelight."
