EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          ISI named former Nike and PGA Tour exec LEE KAPLAN as
     its Dir of Golf.  Kaplan will be responsible for building
     and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and
     will oversee the recruiting of new players.  ISI currently
     handles JIM FURYK, PAUL GOYDOS and KEVIN SUTHERLAND, among
     others (ISI)....JOE LANG was named Media Relations Dir of
     the CA Collegiate Athletic Association.  Lang served the
     past two years at the Pac 10 Media Relations Department
     (CCAA)....JUSTICE HILL was named Sports Editor of the
     Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, a move the paper hopes "will
     intensify competition with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette." 
     Hill had served as Sports Editor of the Journal Gazette in
     Fort Wayne, IN, since '91 (Pittsburgh TRIBUNE-REVIEW, 7/12).
