MAD MAX OF SPORTS MARKETING: MUHLEMAN PROFILED IN CHARLOTTE

          MAX MUHLEMAN is profiled by Leah Beth Ward in a
     CHARLOTTE OBSERVER cover story.  Muhleman "is the marketing
     maven to some of the biggest names in the business," who
     seek out Muhleman for his "disciplined, pull-no-punches
     analysis of their dreams."  Ravens Owner ART MODELL, who
     hired Muhleman to run his team's PSL campaign: "People try
     to BS you.  He doesn't."  Beth Ward: "Muhleman is anything
     but slick.  He's more like the mild-mannered uncle who knows
     more than he lets on.  He's the straight shooter who can
     make even the most egotistical team owner listen to hard
     realities."  Muhleman Marketing has run five PSL campaigns
     in the last five years and while Muhleman Marketing doesn't
     disclose revenues, Muhleman "pegged annual revenues at
     somewhere between" $1M-10M (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 6/8).
