SANDY GALLIN was named Chair & CEO of Mirage
     Entertainment & Sports Inc., the entertainment arm of STEVE
     WYNN's Mirage Resorts.  Gallin has stepped down as Chair of
     Gallin Morey Associates and will be "charged with creating
     and discovering new entertainment and sports attractions for
     the Mirage chain" (DAILY VARIETY, 6/4)....Fox named MITCHELL
     STERN Chair & CEO of Fox TV Station.  He was President & COO
     of Fox TV since '93 (N.Y. POST, 6/4)....The Eagles named
     JASON GONELLA Dir of Sales, Penthouse Suites.  He was Dir of
     Business Development at the Nets.  The Eagles also named
     ANTHONY MONACO Sales Supervisor, Penthouse Suites.  He was a
     Sales Manager at Pro Player Stadium (Eagles).  In other
     news, the Eagles named MIKE MCCARTNEY as their new Pro
     Personnel Coordinator.  McCartney, the son of former Univ.
     of CO football coach BILL MCCARTNEY, was a scout for the
     Bears (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 6/3)....Callaway Golf has
     retained LEONARD DECOF from RI-based Decof and Grimm as a
     Special Counsel.  Decof specializes in civil litigation,
     including sports litigation (Callaway).

          Paramount Pictures and producer SCOTT RUDIN have
     acquired WILLIAM WOLFF's spec script, "Total Sport," which
     is a "thriller" taking place in the "back rooms of an ESPN-
     like sports network and covers such" issues as point shaving
     and gambling.  It marks the first sale for Wolff, who "is a
     veteran producer" of ESPN (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 6/4)...
     ...MAYNARD TRUDEAU, the 74-year old FL resident who will
     take part in AT&T's $2M shootout: "If I can hit the rim at
     least, I won't feel so bad" (Fort Lauderdale SUN-SENTINEL,
     6/4)....SHAQUILLE O'NEAL "kicked off his campaign" for the
     Boys & Girls Clubs of America by donating $1M in an effort
