In Boston, Will McDonough reported that the Red Sox are awaiting a final report from consulting company Arthur Andersen on the economic feasibility of a new Fenway Park. If the report says the team can use their own money to build it and still make a profit, "that's what the team will do." The Red Sox expect to announce their plans "closer to the end of the season" (BOSTON GLOBE, 6/27)....CT Gov. John Rowland has told "friends and acquaintances privately, with an air of confidence" that he believes the odds of the Patriots building a new stadium in CT are "nearly 50-50" (HARTFORD COURANT, 6/28)....The 93 luxury suites at the Pepsi Center, set to open in October '99, have already been leased in five- to 10-year commitments.
