          The Broncos visited PRESIDENT CLINTON yesterday at the
     White House (DENVER POST, 6/17)....In N.Y., William Rhoden
     suggests that Orioles 3B CAL RIPKEN JR. should end his
     consecutive games played streak: "It is one thing to reward
     a player for showing up for work each day with a lunch pail
     in hand.  But what do you do when the pail is empty?" (N.Y.
     TIMES, 6/17)....DALE EARNHARDT yesterday became the first
     NASCAR driver to speak at the National Press Club in DC (USA
     TODAY, 6/17).  The Press Club's ED ILGENFRITZ, on Earnhardt:
     "I've been at all these luncheons.  I've never seen two
     standing ovations for anybody else before.  And most of the
     time, the big guys who come here are surrounded by staff
     that don't even allow anyone to approach for autographs"
     (Baltimore SUN, 6/17).... RUPERT MURDOCH is the "richest
     man" in L.A. with an estimated personal fortune of $4.9B,
     according to the L.A. Business Journal's annual list of the
     50 wealthiest people in L.A.  MARVIN DAVIS was the second
     richest, worth an estimated $3.9B (AP, 6/17). 

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth.
