KINGS OFFER REFUND IF FANS NOT PLEASED WITH ON-FLOOR PRODUCT

In a "unique response aimed at reclaiming fans'
affection," NBA Kings Owner Jim Thomas has issued a five-
points bulletin to season-ticket holders that includes a
"money-back guarantee," according to Ailene Voisin of the
SACRAMENTO BEE. Thomas wrote that those dissatisfied with
the product "by the second week of fall camp" can receive
their money back, with interest. Thomas further announced
that the team will not increase prices on renewals for
season and game-plan packages. No decision has been made
about single-game ticket prices. Thomas said the concept of
a money-back guarantee came from talks with team execs and
reps from several departments. Also involved was team
consultant Jon Spoelstra (SACRAMENTO BEE, 6/9).
