Gschwend, in a statement released at the World Figure Skating Championships: "Our businesses were completely wiped out by the way IMG and ISU conspired to steal our ISU contract out from under us." Gschwend "estimated" that Stadion lost $20- $30M a year in net profits. ISU General Secretary Fredi Schmid said "the claims of Gschwend against the ISU ... are totally unfounded and will be vigorously contested" (AP/ HARTFORD COURANT, 4/5)....A total of 95,994 attended the World Figure Skating Championships at the Target Center in Minneapolis, including 9,570 at Sunday's "Celebration of Champions" exhibition.
