SNAPPLE BRINGING GOODWILL, AND NEW DRINKS, TO '98 NYC GAMES

          Snapple Beverage announced that Snapple will be the
     official beverage of the '98 Goodwill Games.  Snapple will
     utilize the deal to introduce a new line of drinks, Snapple
     Refreshers, a preservative-free brand available in three
     flavors and two specifically formulated sport drinks. At the
     Games, Snapple will be the presenting sponsor of the Men's
     and Women's Beach Volleyball event and will be a featured
     sponsor of the Goodwill Games Music Festival and the Track &
     Field competition of the Junior Goodwill Games. Snapple will
     also have a media presence, with spots and vignettes on
     Games carrier TBS, TNT, CNN and CBS.  In addition, Snapple
     will earn international exposure through Warner Bros.
