EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Olympic gold medal winner BRUCE JENNER was named Dir of
     Promotional Marketing for Allegiance Telecom.  He will also
     serve as commercial spokesperson (AD AGE, 4/23)....A-B
     promoted STEVE ULINE to Group Dir/Sports Marketing and Bud
     Sports.  Uline served as Dir of Bud Sports for the past five
     years (A-B)....Hurricanes GM JIM RUTHERFORD will hand his
     "administrative duties" to DEAN JORDAN, who is leaving his
     job as Exec VP with the NHL Panthers. Jordan will handle all
     arena, marketing, financial, ticketing and merchandising
     issues, while Rutherford will "concentrate full-time on the
     hockey operations" (Raleigh NEWS & OBSERVER, 4/23)....FL
     Citrus Sports (FCS), which runs the CompUSA FL Citrus Bowl,
     named former FCS President MARSHALL VERMILLION as its Game
     Chair for the '99 Bowl.  HARVEY MASSEY was elected President
     of FCS.  Walt Disney World Senior VP/Ops & Services BILL
     O'TOOLE was voted the President-Elect (FCS)....DONNA DOHERTY
     has left as Editor of Tennis Magazine, and has been replaced
     by MARK WOODRUFF, who was Assistant Managing Editor of
     Rolling Stone (TENNIS WEEK, 4/23 issue).
