GOLF MOVES: O'GRADY OUT AT ETONIC; NIKE'S TALLMAN RESIGNS
Published April 15, 1998
PAT O'GRADY, a 12-year exec with Etonic, is leaving the company, according to Lynn Henning of GOLFWEEK. O'Grady was hired in '86 as Senior VP & GM at Etonic after 12 years at FootJoy. When Spalding Sports Worldwide bought Etonic in '96 O'Grady was made a Senior VP "and assigned the mission of helping Etonic merge its culture with Spalding's" (GOLFWEEK, 4/11 issue). Henning also reports that Nike Golf "is hunting for a new director of marketing following the resignation last week of ROD TALLMAN." Tallman had been with Nike since '79 and has headed Nike's golf marketing division since '94 (GOLFWEEK, 4/11 issue).
