          NOTES: The Hurricanes are playing at the
     Greensboro Coliseum, capacity 15,902.  Last year, as
     the Whalers, the team played at the Hartford Civic
     Center, capacity 14,660.  The Capitals played their
     first 10 games at US Airways Arena before moving to the
     new MCI Center.  The '96-'97 average is for the season
     as a whole.  The '96-97 comparisons are for both the
     season as a whole and through the same number of home
     dates.  Overall, the league is averaging 16,029 per
     game and playing at 90% capacity.
