GOLF AND TENNIS SHOES COSTING MORE AND MORE AS YEARS GO BY

          National Sporting Goods Association data gives the
     comparison in price of 12 types of athletic shoes.  The data
     includes average prices in '91, '96 and '97, as well as the
     percentage change from '91 and '96 to '97.  The baseball
     category includes softball shoes.  The jogging category
