IT'S PARTY TIME: ALL-STAR EXTRAVAGANZA HITS THE BIG APPLE

The '98 NBA TeamUp Celebration, hosted by Ahmad Rashad
and Willow Bay tomorrow at 12:00pm EST, will be simulcast by
seven networks -- NBC, TNT, Nickelodeon, BET, Telemundo, MSG
and YTV in Canada. Among the celebrity participants: LL
Cool J, Tyra Banks, Spike Lee, Brandy, Salt-N-Pepa, Jennifer
Love Hewitt and the Knicks City Dancers (NBA).
BRING IN DA' HALFTIME: Over 100 Broadway cast members,
including "Chicago's" Bebe Neuwirth and "Titanic's" David
Garrison, will perform numbers from 10 Broadway shows during
halftime of Sunday's All-Star Game. Paul Simon and cast
members of "The Capeman" will perform the national anthems
(NBA)....The NBA's kick-off party is The Show -- with Stevie
Wonder and Bette Midler -- tonight at the MSG Theater.
Meanwhile, "countless other bashes will be thrown in clubs
and restaurants around town" by the likes of Michael Jordan,
Puffy Combs, Sam Cassell and Reggie Miller. Shaquille
O'Neal will throw "two huge parties," the first being
tonight with The Source, the hip hop magazine, at a midtown
club with Combs to perform for the invitation-only audience
of 500. On Saturday, O'Neal will host a party and concert
for 1,000 at the All-Star Cafe. On Saturday, the TBS and
TNT networks will host a party for 1,000 clients, staffers
and ballplayers at the China Club (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 2/6).
