          RATINGS: USA Network earned a 4.0 rating for its two-
     day coverage of the 122nd annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog
     Show.  USA tied its highest rating for the event, set in '96
     (USA Network)....Steffi Graf's return to tennis on Wednesday
     in Germany drew a 15.7 marketshare, representing 1.2 million
     homes on German TV ARD.  The match recorded Germany's
     highest ratings for tennis in '98 and outdrew the Olympics,
     which were live on ZDF (THE DAILY).     
          NOTES: ESPN will present an "Up Close" special, "Harry
     Caray, Holy Cow!," hosted by Roy Firestone, tonight at
     12:00am ET (ESPN)....The Devil Rays named Dewayne Staats as
     their first-ever play-by-play broadcaster (SportsChannel).
     ...Sunshine Network will carry select games from Fox Sports
     Net's national MLB telecast, "Baseball Thursday," this
     season (Sunshine Network)....In N.Y., Johanna Bennett
     reports on fantasy games, which have become "valuable
     marketing tools for on-line companies and publications
     looking to compete not only with other Web sites, but also
     with newspapers" and TV (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 2/20).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
