"reached its sales target" for the Nagano Games, having
"sold in the range" of C$40M in ads. A 30-second prime-time
spot sells for "between" C$45,000-50,000 (Toronto GLOBE &
MAIL, 1/8)....Nagano organizers say that the snow that fell
in Nagano the past couple of days "was far from being
enough" with the Games a month away (KYODO NEWS, 1/8).
