LIPINSKI AND GUMBEL IN THE PAIRS? SKATER ON "PUBLIC EYE"

TARA LIPINSKI was featured on CBS' "Public Eye with
Bryant Gumbel." Gumbel called Lipinski and MICHELLE KWAN
"the new hot rivals in figure skating." Lipinski: "There is
no rivalry. We're just going for the same dream" (1/28).
Kwan and Lipinski were the subject of "ET"'s Cover Story.
Bob Goen noted that both endorse Campbell's Soup and Kwan
has deals with United Airlines and Yoplait Yogurt. Lipinski
reps Donna Karan and Barbie dolls. Goen: "Add a gold medal
and the stakes get really high" ("ET," 1/28).
