              CONSTANTINE BAKOURIS was named CEO of the 2004 Athens
         Olympic Organizing Committee.  Bakouris was European Dir of
         Ralston Energy Systems in Geneva (N.Y. TIMES, 1/23).
         ...ROBERT DALE MORGAN was named President & CEO of the
         Atlanta 2000 Super Bowl Host Committee.  He has served as
         VP/Sports for the Atlanta Chamber and has been in charge of
         the Peach Bowl since '88 (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 1/23).
         ...The Colts named BOB LAMEY to their administrative staff. 
         He has been the team's radio voice for 11 of the team's 14
         years in Indy.  He will continue to handle the team's play-
         by-play and have an involvement in community projects and
         assist the sales and marketing staff (Colts).

              Retiring 49ers TE BRENT JONES "is leaning against
         running for Congress in June," his agent LEIGH STEINBERG
         said yesterday (S.F. CHRONICLE, 1/22)....HOWIE LONG was a
         guest on NBC's "Tonight Show" last night.  Long, on acting
         compared to pro sports: "When you come from professional
         football, you know, you make your own coffee, you drive
         yourself to work -- if you want to be pampered, become an
         actor" ("Tonight Show," NBC, 1/22)....In N.Y., Barbara
         Phillips reviewed "Bad As I Wanna Be: The DENNIS RODMAN
         Story," as a "well acted, but painfully shallow Rodman-
         produced and -narrated biopic" (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 1/22).
