TERPS WILL GET $800,000 TO PLAY GAME AT RAVENS' NEW STADIUM

          The MD Stadium Authority finalized details yesterday to
     pay the Univ. of MD $800,000 to move the Terps' October 31
     football game against GA Tech to the Ravens' new stadium,
     according to Christian Ewell of the Baltimore SUN.  The
     authority "will receive the money from the Ravens," who
     promote all events at the stadium under the terms of their
     contract with the authority.  In other news, the authority
     approved the lease of land adjacent to the new football
     stadium that will provide 437 parking spaces.  It will
     receive all revenues from parking at the lot for Orioles and
     Ravens games, plus half of the weekday revenues (SUN, 1/16).
