Cablevision Systems acquired Radio City Productions,
which operates Radio City Music Hall (RCMH), from the
Rockefeller Group in a deal valued at $400M. Cablevision
plans to spend another $25M renovating RCMH into a digital
TV production center (Leslie Cauley, WALL STREET JOURNAL,
12/4). MSG President Dave Checketts will oversee RCHM (N.Y.
POST, 12/4). Cablevision took out full-page ads in the
three N.Y dailies, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today
welcoming RCMH to its "entertainment family" (THE DAILY).
