Nike extended its December 15 deadline in the search for a location to build a satellite office in the Western U.S. or Canada. The expansion likely would employ up to 5,000 people after 2000. Nike Dir of PR Lee Weinstein said that CO, NM, NV, WA and British Columbia are all candidates.
