     van.  And the babies already got job offers for when they
     turn six from a Nike factory in Indonesia" ("Tonight Show,"
     11/20)....DAVID LETTERMAN's Top Ten List included "Cool
     Things About Having Septuplets":  No. 9: "Four more kids and
     you've got a football team that can beat the Colts" ("Late
     Show," 11/20)....SCOTT BORAS is profiled by Nick Paumgarten
     of the N.Y. OBSERVER.  Paumgarten: "Owners hate him; general
     managers hate having to deal with him.  More than any other
     agent, he has whipped them in arbitration and has repeatedly
     raised the bar in the free-agent market (N.Y. OBSERVER,
     11/24)....Rock star GARY GLITTER, who's "Rock-n-Roll Part 2"
     is "now famous" for its play during sports events, was
     arrested after British police "allegedly found him in
     possession of child pornography" (N.Y. POST, 11/20).
     ....BOBBY RAHAL will retire as an Indycar driver at the end
     of the '98 season.  He will continue to run Team Rahal,
     which he owns with DAVID LETTERMAN (AKRON BEACON JOURNAL,
     11/21)....U.S. women's soccer co-captain JULIE FOUDY was a
     guest on "Late Night" with Conan O'Brien. Foudy, on if there
     is a lot of trash talking in international soccer: "There's
     not a lot of trash talking.  You know, maybe sometimes they
     turn around, you pull their pants down, give them a good
     wedgie or something."  O'Brien: "This is a good image for
     women's soccer: 'I like to drink beer, eat a lot of
     doughnuts, give the occasional wedgie.'  You'll be on the
     Wheaties box in no time" ("Late Night," NBC, 11/20).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
