ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that in the
four days since the Packers put team stock up for sale, they
have received 95,000 phone inquiries and four million hits
on their Web site, www.packers.com, including one million on
Monday ("SportsCenter," ESPN, 11/17). The Packers promoted
their stock offering in an ad in the Wall Street Journal,
displaying their Web address and a toll-free number.

(THE DAILY)....The Marlins "are raising the price of nearly
all tickets" for the '98 season. Tickets for the top three
rows of the upper deck will remain $2, while all other
tickets will increase. Marlins VP/Sales & Marketing Jim
Ross: "It's a 10 percent increase. Some are a little more,
and some are a little less" (MIAMI HERALD, 11/15)....The
Brewers will have "modest price increases" for '98.
Mezzanine boxes and lower boxes will cost $22, an increase
of $2 each. Lower boxes will go for $18, a increase of $1.
Lower grandstand tickets and upper box seats also went up by
$1 to $14 (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 11/15).
