IMG will open an office in Salt Lake City this month "to service corporate clients sponsoring the 2002 Winter Olympics," according to Jeff Jensen of AD AGE. The move is the latest in a "series of aggressive initiatives" aimed at establishing IMG as "a leader in corporate consulting in sports marketing." IMG Senior VP/New Business Robert Prazmark said that the office will be led by an exec who is "familiar with the city's Olympic operation," although he "declined" to name the person (AD AGE, 10/6 issue).
