          AD TIME: New MLB partner MasterCard will unveil its new
     baseball ad campaign during tonight's World Series game on
     NBC ("Business Center," CNBC, 10/21).  MasterCard's new
     tagline, from McCann-Erickson Worldwide, NY, is, "There are
     some things money can't buy ... for everything else there's
     MasterCard" (AD AGE, 10/22).  In N.Y., Courtney Kane reports
     that MasterCard's "overall brand-building efforts" include
     its new sports sponsorships with MLB and the PGA (N.Y.
     TIMES, 10/22)....Miller Brewing Co. is "boosting" its ad
     time on NBC's Super Bowl pregame show "in an effort to build
     the resurgent Miller Lite brand by further leveraging its
     NFL sponsorship" (James Arndorfer, AD AGE, 10/20 issue).
          DEALS: Fila USA will be the official apparel and
     footwear sponsor of the Marine Corps Marathon, October 26,
     in Washington, DC.  Fila will provide runner's bibs and race
     t-shirts for all participants, receive race signage, sight
     sampling and outfit the nine member Marine Corps running
     team with uniforms and shoes (Fila)....The A-10 and field
     hockey equipment manufacturer Dita USA have signed a two-
     year deal for Dita USA to be a title sponsor of the league's
     '97 and '98 field hockey championships (A-10)....The BI-LO
     Center in Greenville, SC, and Volume Services reached a deal
     with PepsiCo of Greenville, SC, for exclusive pouring rights
     for the SC sports arena and its primary tenant, the ECHL
     Grrreenville Grrrowl, through 2008 (BI-LO Center)....The MLS
     Mutiny named FL-based United HealthCare as its official
     health care benefit sponsor (Mutiny)....Callaway Golf and
     Saint Andrews Golf Corp. have opened the full-service
     Callaway Golf Center in Las Vegas, NV (Callaway Golf).
