ASCENT WANTS TO ROCK 'N ROLL ALL NIGHT AND PARTY EVERY FEY

          Ascent Entertainment named Denver's "longtime rock 'n
     roll promoter," BARRY FEY, as an entertainment consultant,
     according the DENVER POST.  Ascent CEO Charlie Lyons said
     Fey "initially will work with the Nuggets on promotions, but
     I expect he will be dealing with the Avalanche."  Fey will
     not be involved in the day-to-day operation of the teams,
     and "his primary objective will be to renew interest" in the
     Nuggets.  Fey: "I want a night at the Nuggets to be fun for
     the fans.  Sports is supposed to be about entertainment, but
     sometimes that's forgotten" (DENVER POST, 10/2).
