In an effort to "show off" the city, Jacksonville businesses "will be telling their employees" to leave their lights on for ABC's "Monday Night Football" telecast of the Jaguars-Steelers game, according to Earl Daniels of the FLORIDA TIMES-UNION. It will be the Jaguars' first regular- season "MNF" appearance and downtown businesses were notified by the city Chamber of Commerce after officials in the mayor's office "urged the light-up effort."
