NAMES IN THE NEWS

          CLYDE DREXLER, MITCH RICHMOND, KURT RAMBIS, MALIK SEALY
     and LORENZEN WRIGHT will appear on Wednesday's episode of
     "The Sentinel" on UPN. Drexler and Richmond play feuding
     murder suspects.  Also appearing will be RALPH LAWLER, HUBIE
     BROWN and BILL WALTON, the Clippers' announcing crew on
     L.A.'s UPN KCOP (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 9/15)....In Milwaukee,
     BRETT FAVRE'S STEAKHOUSE, the restaurant owned by Favre, his
     agent, JAMES COOK, and DICK MONFORT, opened last week. 
     JOURNAL SENTINEL restaurant critic Dennis Getto gave it a
     favorable review, writing that the filet mignon "is nothing
     short of a spectacular steak.  It was so tender and
     flavorful we ate every bite" (JOURNAL SENTINEL, 9/16).
     ...76er ALLEN IVERSON, on whether he will be one of the
     young players who will carry the torch for the league after
     MICHAEL JORDAN retires "As time goes by, people will find
     out what type of person I am, and I think I'll be able to
