NATIONAL LACROSSE LEAGUE TO BE A PART OF THE LIVSEY YEARS

9.12.1997

          John Livsey was named the first commissioner of the new
     National Lacrosse League.  Livsey was Dir of Marketing for
     the Bills for the past five years.  Before that, he spent
     six years with the Sabres.   Livsey will develop the NLL's
     vision and growth plan in player and marketing development
     as well as expansion, assist in the negotiations of the CBA
     with the Players' Association, spearhead the marketing of
     the league and oversee the day-to-day operations of the
     league office in Buffalo (National Lacrosse League).
