CBS AFFIL GETS 10 WIZARDS GAMES, INCLUDING MCI OPENER

The Wizards will have 10 games aired on WUSA-CBS this
season, "including the first game at MCI Center," under
terms of an agreement between the station and rights-holder
HTS, according to Leonard Shapiro of the WASHINGTON POST.
The 10 games on WUSA, along with the 20 games to be aired on
WBDC-TV, mean that the "total of 30 games on regular over-
the-air stations matches the number of games available to
viewers the past two years." Shapiro: "Similar to its deal
with [WBDC-TV], HTS essentially buys the time from [WUSA],
giving the station several commercial spots in the broadcast
but selling the remaining ad inventory for its own
     commercials" (WASHINGTON POST, 9/11).
