          NEWS FROM PGA INTERNATIONAL GOLF SHOW: From Las Vegas,
     USA TODAY's Gary Mihoces reports that Nike will "unveil" its
     new line of women's golf apparel in late '98, while the Greg
     Norman Collection, "marketed under the Reebok label, has a
     new women's line coming out in February."  Also, Tehama, a
     new line of golf apparel, hosted a cocktail party at the Golf
     Show and "heads turned" when co-owner Clint Eastwood "walked
     in wearing one of the shirts" (USA TODAY, 9/10).
          OTHER NOTES: Yankees Owner George Steinbrenner, on the
     mutual marketing agreement the team has with Hideki Irabu in
     which the Yankees get a percentage of Irabu's marketing in
     Japan, while Irabu gets a percentage of the Yankees'
     marketing in the U.S.: "[U]ntil he starts to pitch well it's
     not going to be worth anything" (USA TODAY, 9/9)....Bill
     Parcells is "seen tailgating besides a Cadillac" in new TV
     spots in the NY, NJ, CT area as part of his deal as
     spokesperson for the company (BRANDWEEK, 9/8)....The Vermont
     Teddy Bear Co. has signed Packers TE Mark Chmura as a
     spokesperson for it line of NFL-licensed products (Vermont
     Teddy Bear Co.).
