          About 11,300 tickets remain unsold for the Vikings home
     opener on Sunday against the Bucs (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS,
     9/10)....In Tampa, David Smith, VP of sports apparel chain
     Team Choice, said that he has "sold more Bucs stuff this year
     than in the past 11 years combined."  He credits "the new
     colors, the new logo and a 2-0 start."  Bucs Dir of Ticket
     Ops Kevin Brooks: "Already, we've sold more tickets than we
     sold all of last year" (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 9/10)....Despite a
     fall deadline for the sale of the NHL Oilers, "local buyers
     are still shying away from making an offer."  John Barr,
     spokesperson for Oilers Owner Peter Pocklington, said that
     "nothing has come across the table" (EDMONTON JOURNAL,
     9/10)....The city of Miami submitted a lease proposal to the
     MLS Fusion to play at the Orange Bowl which "does not include
     the controversial clause that would prohibit the Fusion from
     moving to another South Florida stadium following the
     expiration of the three-year lease" (MIAMI HERALD,
     9/10)....Orca Bay Sports and Ent. is being sued by a local
     artist who claims he designed the new Canucks logo ten years
     ago.  Orca Bay exec Kevin Gass said that the company "could
     not make any comment about the suit" (VANCOUVER SUN,
     9/9)....The Grizzlies will unveil a third uniform to be worn
     on the road (Vancouver PROVINCE, 9/9).
