NOTES: TBS will broadcast 17 hours of live coverage from the PGA Championship. First and second round coverage on Thursday and Friday will air from 12:05-6:05pm ET. Weekend coverage will air from 10:30am-1:00pm ET (TBS)....Much of the pre-tournament coverage of the Championships has focused on the youth movement that has dominated the men's tour. CBS Coordinating Golf Producer Lance Barrow said that the network "won't go overboard on coverage of [Tiger] Woods, the leader of the Gen X pack, particularly if he's not in contention. But they won't ignore him either because 'people want to know what he's doing'" (Milton Kent, Baltimore SUN, 8/14).
