EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Hippo Inc., the maker of Tegra golf equipment and
     apparel, named CHUCK PRESTIGIACOMO VP/Sales for the Tegra
     Brand.  Prestigiacomo most recently was Taylor Made's
     National Sales Manager (Hippo Inc.)....The USTA named HENRY
     TALBERT Exec Dir of the USTA/Southern CA Tennis Association
     (SCTA).  Talbert will leave his current position as USTA
     Dir/Adult & Senior Tennis to head SCTA following the '97
     USTA Tennis Teachers' Conference and USTA Semi-annual
     Meetings in September.  Current SCTA Exec Dir ROBERT KRAMER
     will become Tournament Dir of the Infiniti Open in L.A. on a
     full-time basis (USTA)...Exec search firm Eastman & Beaudine
     placed CHET GLADCHUK as the new AD of the Univ. of Houston. 
     Gladchuk had been AD at Boston College (Eastman & Beaudine).
