PLAYER ENDORSEMENT NEWS: GETTING CUDDLY WITH WAYNE CHREBET

          Jets WR Wayne Chrebet has signed on as spokesperson for
     Vermont Teddy Bear Co.'s line of NFL-licensed teddy bears. 
     Chrebet will be featured in radio/print ads, as well as in a
     video to be shown on Giants Stadium's Jumbotron during Jets
     games.  Beginning with the Jets' preseason opener, the video
     will be shown twice during the first half of every Jets home
     game.  Fans will also be given a chance to win a Jets teddy
     bear autographed by Chrebet (Vermont Teddy Bear).
          HOLY MOISES: Marlins OF Moises Alou has signed his
     first national endorsement contract, a multi-year marketing
     deal with Pro Player.  Alou will be featured national and
     local ad campaigns for the remainder of '97 (Pro Player).
