          NBC Sports' CHARLIE JONES will receive the Pete Rozelle
     Radio-Television Award at the Pro Football Hall of Fame this
     weekend.  Jones, who worked Super Bowl I, begins his 38th
     season broadcasting football, and 33rd with NBC Sports
     (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 7/25)....Bucs rookie WARRICK DUNN, who
     reached a contract agreement with the team yesterday, on
     what he did during his holdout: "I saw a lot of movies, and
     I can tell you guys, 'Face/Off' is pretty good"
     ("SportsCenter," ESPN, 7/24)....Sources tell Pete Slover of
     the DALLAS MORNING NEWS that Dallas TV station KXAS will pay
     Cowboys MICHAEL IRVIN and ERIK WILLIAMS "about" $2.2M to
     settle their defamation suit against the station stemming
     from rape allegations made against the players (DALLAS
     MORNING NEWS, 7/24)....MICHAEL FRANCIS yesterday pleaded not
     guilty to charges of influence peddling and concealing mob
     ties while chair of the NJSEA during a hearing in Mercer
     County (NJ) Superior Court (Bergen RECORD, 7/24).

NBC Olympics’ Molly Solomon, ESPN’s P.K. Subban, the Masters and more

The second-ever MWC commissioner chats with SBJ’s Ross Nethery about her climb through the collegiate ranks. Nevarez is a member of SBJ’s Game Changers Class of 2019. Nevarez has had stints at the conference level in the Pac-12, West Coast Conference, and Mountain West Conference as well as at the college level at Oklahoma, Cal, and San Jose State.
