BALTIMORE FEELING SPIRIT OF INDOOR SOCCER AS TEAM INKS DEALS

The NPSL Baltimore Spirit yesterday announced "the most
lucrative sponsorship in team history," a "six-figure" deal
with Dannon, as well as a deal with WCBM-AM to air all 40
regular season and playoff games, according to Doug Brown of
the Baltimore SUN. Brown writes "it is believed" the Dannon
deal, "by far the largest" in NPSL history, is for about
$250,000 for one year. Dannon will have logo placement on
the team uniform and be "prominent" in team advertising and
on radio and TV broadcasts (Baltimore SUN, 7/18).
