NAMES IN THE NEWS

          Mavs Owner ROSS PEROT JR. is asking $1.25M for the
     Squaw Mountain Lodge ranch in TX, which he purchased in a
     December '95 auction for $571,650 (FT. WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM,
     7/11)....U.S. & World Figure Skating Champion TARA LIPINSKI
     appeared on the "Tonight Show."  Lipinski, on why she
     started roller skating at age three: "If you took a certain
     amount of lessons, you got a free Care Bear" (NBC, 7/10).
