          The AVP has teamed with Sony Music to release the "AVP
     Summer Soundtrack," which includes music played at AVP
     events and songs by Sony artists (AVP)....Nike has asked a
     group from Dartmouth College to analyze wages of workers at
     Nike-contracted factories (Portland OREGONIAN, 6/25).
     ...Olympic gold medal gymnast Dominique Moceanu signed her
     first endorsement agreement, a one-year deal with MO-based
     junior apparel retailer 5-7-9 Shops.  Moceanu will be
     featured in ads, signage, promo materials and will make in-
     store appearances (5-7-9 Shops)....The MLS Crew's Thomas
     Dooley has renegotiated his contract with Puma to last
     through the end of his playing career.  Dooley will be
     featured in a national ad campaign later this year (Puma).
     ...In DC, Karen Lundegaard writes that the Official All-Star
     Cafe "is close to a deal for a prominent downtown location,"
     taking up 25,000 square feet at 12th St. NW in DC, near the
     new MCI Center (WASHINGTON BUSINESS JOURNAL, 6/20)....Joe
     Walsh, author John Grisham and actors Jonathan Silverman of
     "The Single Guy," Nick Turturro of "NYPD Blue," and
     Christina Applegate of "Married with Children," are among
     the celebs participating in the MCI Celebrity Softball game
     on All-Star Workout Day, June 7, at Jacobs Field (MLB).
