VIDEO KILLS THE RADIO STAR AND PAXSON SELLS TWO SPORTS TEAMS

          FL-based Paxson Communications Corp., "which had been
     aggressively building a Florida radio empire," said Monday
     "it will sell all of its radio stations" for $693M to raise
     money for new TV acquisitions, according to Mimi Whitefield
     of the MIAMI HERALD.  TX-based Clear Channel Communications
     will buy Paxson's 46 radio stations -- including 42 in
     Florida -- six radio news and sports networks, two minor
     league sports teams, and a 526-sign billboard division. 
     (MIAMI HERALD, 6/24).  The teams in the deal are the AFL's
     Florida Bobcats and the Florida Lions, a minor league hockey
     team to debut in '98 (FT. LAUDERDALE SUN-SENTINEL, 6/24).
