BARNETT'S BIG DAY TOMORROW AS THORNTON WILL GO NUMBER ONE

          IMG Hockey Division President MIKE BARNETT is profiled
     by Kevin Paul Dupont in the BOSTON GLOBE under the header,
     "Hockey's Secret Agent."  Barnett currently represents,
     among others, WAYNE GRETZKY, BRETT HULL, JAROMIR JAGR,
     SERGEI FEDEROV, ALEXANDER MOGILNY, MATS SUNDIN and PAUL
     COFFEY.  He also represents JOE THORNTON, "expected" to be
     chosen by the Bruins as the top pick in tomorrow's NHL
     Draft.  The GLOBE's Dupont writes that Barnett "is in the
     people business, and he is gregarious, well informed about
     his industry, but tight-lipped when it comes to the first
     person" (BOSTON GLOBE, 6/20).  In Edmonton, Dan Barnes
     writes there is a "great chance" that seven of NHL's top
     draft picks will be IMG clients (EDMONTON SUN, 6/20).
