FORMULA ONE STOCK OFFERING EXPECTED TO BE STALLED UNTIL FALL

Advisers to Formula One Holdings "are expected to
decide early next week to push back the date of its
international stock market flotation" from July to
September, according to Patrick Harverson in FINANCIAL
TIMES. Salomon Brothers had "originally hoped to float" the
marketer of F1 TV rights around July's British Grand Prix,
but preparations for the offering have been "dogged by
disputes" among the ten teams over revenue sharing and the
size of their equity shares in the public company. The
process has also been slowed by "the need to address the
legal issue of whether the broadcasting rights to the sport
can be marketed centrally" (FINANCIAL TIMES, 6/14-15).
TAKING STOCK: Racing Champions Corp. announced the IPO
of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at $14 per share.
Robert W. Baird & Co Inc., William Blair & Co. L.L.C. and
J.C. Bradford & Co. are managing the offering. The stock
will trade on the NASDAQ under RACN (Racing Champions).
