FRANCHISE NOTES

The Bucks were inadvertently omitted in yesterday's

Bucks' current value at $103M, which increased 12% since '95
(FINANCIAL WORLD, 6/17 issue)....ESPN SportsZone examines

Piper said the team has sold 12,522 season-tickets. The

Tigers and Red Wings Owner Mike Ilitch "would like to dump

(DETROIT NEWS, 5/30)....In Columbus, a private poll taken on
the day of this month's referendum by backers of the sports

"11th-hour bid" to move his team to Columbus helped "seal
defeat for the project." David Milenthal, CEO HMS Partners,
