OLYMPIC NEWS & NOTES: SLOC TO STAGE PARALYMPIC GAMES OF 2002

The Salt Lake Organizing Committee (SLOC) signed a deal
with the Int'l Paralympic Committee (IPC) whereby SLOC will
host the VII Paralympic Winter Games in March, 2002. The
deal gives SLOC broadcast, marketing, and licensing rights.
SLOC President & CEO Tom Welch: "With SLOC being the sole
source for the sale of such rights, it makes it very
attractive and convenient for corporate sponsors to
participate in both the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and the
Paralympic Games." SLOC will pay the IPC $500,000 for the
     rights to the Games (SLOC).
KODAK INKS: Eastman Kodak Co. signed national and local
ad deals for the '98 Winter Olympics with CBS. Kodak said
ads will run February 6-22, 1998. U.S. TV viewers will also
