PACKERS DELAYING VOTE ON NEW STOCK ISSUE

          The Packers said Monday that they will "put off a vote
     on the franchise's proposed stock offering" at its annual
     shareholders meeting today, according to Charles Gardner of
     the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL.  Packers General Counsel
     Lance Lopes would not "divulge" details of the stock plan,
     but added, "The NFL has approved the format we are going to
     be presenting at the meeting."  The team issued a statement
     saying that a vote would be held at a later date.  The team
     has not discussed the price or quantity of shares it plans
     to issue (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 5/27).
