NAMES IN THE NEWS

          The WASHINGTON POST is reporting that JOHN DALY "may
     return" to the PGA Tour next week at The Memorial Tournament
     in Dublin, OH.  Daly left the tour two months ago to receive
     treatment for alcohol abuse.  Daly's agent, John Mascatello
     said no decision had been made as to Daly's return
     (WASHINGTON POST, 5/23)....Former MLB player KIRK GIBSON has
     started giving motivational speeches for corporate clients. 
     Gibson: "There's a high rate of burnout among that crowd. 
     I'm going to talk about the need to focus, setting goals and
     persevering" (CRAIN'S DETROIT BUSINESS, 5/19 issue)....MSG
     will host the "Nobody Beats The Wiz New York's Top 100
     Sports Moments Gala" on September 11.  The project is
     managed by NJ-based INTEGRATED SPORTS INTERNATIONAL, and
     benefits the N.Y. Public Schools System and the CJ
     Foundation for SIDS.  The 100 moments will be voted on by
     the public at Nobody Beats The Wiz stores and through
     ballots in the N.Y. Daily News (Sports Moments Gala).
