KRISTI, SHAQ AND THE PACK WIN NICKELODEON KIDS CHOICE AWARDS

          Shaquille O'Neal was named "Favorite Male Athlete" at
     the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards last Saturday night in
     Los Angeles, beating out Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith and
     Ken Griffey Jr.  Figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi was voted
     "Favorite Female Athlete," topping U.S. Gymnastics team
     members Dominique Moceanu, Dominique Dawes and Shannon
     Miller.  The Packers were named "Favorite Sports Team,"
     beating out the Bulls, Yankees and Magic.  The awards,
     sponsored by Kraft and McDonald's, were selected by over a
     million kids, who called a toll-free number, voted online or
     entered ballots at McDonald's restaurants (THE DAILY).
